FASHION

CAMPUS: SANTO DOMINGO

The objective of the two-year college level program in Fashion is to develop an understanding of contemporary clothing design. This program offers students a broad vision of the process of creation and development of a single piece or a collection.

Faculty members guide students toward the completion of fashion projects linked to current trends in conservation of resources and the environment. Students become familiar with fashion language and the history of fashion as a discipline, and develop abilities in illustration, draping, and pattern-making.

The school offers two areas of study: Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing / Communications. The academic experience allows students to consolidate their personal vision with the technical and practical aspects of this specialization.

AREAS OF STUDY:

Fashion Design
Students go from concept to the production of garments: selection of colors and fabrics, pattern production, and manufacturing.

Fashion Marketing / Communications
The course offers students the opportunity to study the business of fashion, an experience during which they can explore the relationship between design, sales and marketing.
